The site is located on the slope of Penteli Mountain in the northern suburbs of Athens and it is characterised by its steepness, the lush vegetation and the grand view to the plane.

Vertical circulation
The vertical circulation for the two houses is combined in one core that serves them both.
Installations
Kitchens as well as master bathrooms are located next to each other and can easily be united into respective bigger spaces.

The two staircases are intertwined in a DNA like double helix, minimising the volume of the core and accentuating the strong interlacing of the two houses.
The system of the staircases was designed parametrically and enables the immediate control of its geometrical characteristics.
